Continuing the whirlwind for the season Tottenham are having, they have now appointed their hopeful saviour in former Brighton and Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Sitting 17th in the Premier League, Spurs are one point above relegation rivals West Ham and are now on their third manager this season, writes Rantsport‘s Joshua Marshall.
A hopeful next step
Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson told BBC Radio 5live “He will be having his own way, he’s quite a character”.
He added: “He’s a very outspoken manager. He’s a manager in a similar way to Jose Mourinho or Antonio Conte that Tottenham have had in the past.”

Will it work?
De Zerbi was successful with Brighton leading them into European qualification but was seemingly relived of his duties while at Marseille due to disagreement with the owners.
I’m sure he’ll work well with Tottenham’s owners…
His tactics being “press-baiting”, as his team encouraged the opponent to come on to them to split their lines and spin players in behind, yanking the opposing team to one flank through slow possession, before using a quick diagonal to set wide wingers away.
We have seen it work in the Premier League with him before with a squad he had time to adjust to his tactics – but does he have the time at Tottenham?
Is it the right time or too late?
He has only seven matches left – is it enough time to really help them?
The teams he is looking to face are the likes of Sunderland, Brighton, Chelsea, Everton and Aston Villa.
But they do have some teams in which they could pick up points against in Leeds and Wolves.
